This section of the website has been developed for those who might be facing violence, in any form or capacity. These may include; domestic violence, child abuse, rape, sexual harassment and other forms of violence.

The UN Convention 1993-Vienna defined violence as: "any act of gender- based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or private life".

We have included basic information that you should know from how to identify if you're facing violence, understanding why it is happening, to immediate steps you can take, safety planning as well as your legal rights in these situations.
